John Uttley suggests separate raffle over season for match worn shirt. Harrogate Minstermen made £5/600 over season with it when he was in charge. £1 a ticket in meetings
John Uttley will email Paula about player meetings through out season and possible dates available. Possibly 2/3 players. Looking for maybe Worthington of McGill's for meetings.
Proposals by John Uttley:
Lifetime President (possibly ex or current player?), Re branding of Pocklington Minstermen (further afield to attract more members, maybe East Yorkshire Minstermen or Viking Minstermen? So isn't limited to Pocklington residents. Merchandise for re branding like pin badges etc, and sell on eBay and in person at meetings, social club before matches, open day etc)
Setting up eBay account for new supporters group.
Setting up website. Maybe Sam Allenby running and maintaining it with help of others.
Getting donations for meetings.
No BBQ for open day due to social club, Health and safety.
Monty Simpson trying to get small brewery to sponsor meeting or something like donation or advertising for meeting.
Maybe local companies paying £25 for having company in website could make good money from it would also broaden group and get more membership.
Possibly bigger card as sell out quickly every match. Maybe 60 card for normal match instead of 40. Maybe trial it at one of first matches.
